I am excited to annouce that BIS BBE Ch Greenstone Black Pearl is invited to the AKC Eukanuba National Championship Show in Calf, USA 2008!


What a thrill to get my personal invite for her in the mail box. I just had to share it here, as she is the #1 ISD for 2008, I look forward to her invite for next year as well.

This is wonderful considering she had very limited showing as a puppy in 2007


As the ISD is only in the MISC Class at this time, I will not be sending Black Pearl down to this show. Waiting for them to be moved over to Herding!



The Icelandic Sheepdog is in the AKC-FSS Class (recorded since 1997) at this time, but they have been approved to move into AKC-FSS MISC class as of July 1st 2008.

"Watch for a Greenstone Icelandic in the AKC MISC Class this coming summer of 2008"

We only live 40 min from the US border of New York State and we are greatly looking forward to bringing our Canadian Icelandic Sheepdog Show Dogs to the States in the Future, when the breed moves over to AKC-Herding Group.

That normally takes Three to Five plus years to make happen. We will update with more information about the Icelandic Sheepdog and the AKC as it happens.

Note : the CKC will not take a AKC-FSS pedigree on the Icelandic Sheepdog, so if you are buying a US Dog, please be careful that it has a full CKC/FCI pedigree on both parent dogs in order to register it with CKC.
